New Year - Selichot, Shofar, Kaparot - 5767

First and foremost, I would like to apologize for taking almost a month between posts. I've been really busy and it took me a while to really figure out how I wanted to run this blog. I'm still not sure exactly how I will do it, but bear with me, and we'll see how it goes.

There are 3 sets of pictures in this post, all related to the High Holidays - ימים נוראים. The first set is Selichot on Erev Rosh HaShanah at the Kotel:

The pictures of the next set were taken at different times, but the object of these pictures, from my Nefesh B'Nefesh welcome ceremony, another Nefesh B'Nefesh welcome ceremony, a War in Lebanon prayer rally, and a Gush Katif prayer rally, respectively, fits with the the season - the Shofar:
